Turn something you already love into help for a family

Host a small event, dedicate a celebration or start a simple online page. 100% of what you raise funds the foundation’s work, and we handle the receipts and thank-yous.

Easy ideas

A birthday or milestone

Ask for donations in lieu of gifts, or add a giving link to your invitation.

Coffee morning, bake sale, car wash or backyard barbecue. Keep it simple and fun.

Move for good

Walk, run, bike or start a step challenge with friends or coworkers.

A holiday or special occasion

Invite gifts at the holidays, a graduation, a wedding or in memory of a loved one.

Workplace giving

Ask about matching gifts, or host a jeans day or team challenge. See employee giving.

Peer-to-peer online

Share your story and a donate link by text, email or social. See active teams and fundraisers, or start a page.

How to get started

  1. Pick an idea and a goal. Keep it bite-size. $250, $500 or $1,000 makes a real difference.
  2. Tell us your plan. We reply with a short guide, brand assets and a donate link.
  3. Share the story. Post your why, invite friends and thank supporters.
  4. Send in the funds. Online is easiest; checks go to PO Box 584, Grand Blanc, MI 48439.

Tell us your idea

We read every message ourselves and usually reply within two business days.

Common questions

How do online fundraising pages work?
We run peer-to-peer and team pages through GoFundMe Pro. Create a personal page with your story, goal and photo, join or start a team for your company, school or club, or check the box to fundraise in honor of someone. It takes about five minutes and donors get receipts automatically. Start a page or tell us your idea below and we will set it up with you.
How do I send in money I collected in person?
Online is easiest; we will give you a link. Checks can be mailed to The Alexander Foundation, PO Box 584, Grand Blanc, MI 48439.
Can you send me materials?
Yes. We will reply with a short guide, logo files, a donate link and sample social posts.

Two ways to take the next step

For families

You are not alone in this.

If your child has Cloverleaf Syndrome or another craniofacial condition and the bills are piling up, tell us what is happening. We help where we can, and we will point you to people who can help with the rest.

For supporters

Every dollar reaches a family.

Nobody at the foundation is paid. Apart from minimal supplies and tax filing, every gift goes to families, hospitals, schools and books that change how children treat each other.
