Honor someone you love, and invite others to join you

A tribute is a simple, meaningful way to share a story, post a photo and give friends and family a place to support children and families facing craniofacial challenges.

Three ways to give a tribute

Create a tribute page

A personalized page with a story and photos where friends and family can leave messages and give.

Make a tribute gift

Give once or monthly in honor or memory of someone special. We will send an acknowledgment to the person or family you name.

Obituary wording

"In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alexander Foundation, PO Box 584, Grand Blanc, MI 48439, or at thealexanderfd.org/give-a-tribute." We will set up a page for the family.

Creating a tribute gave our family a place to gather and heal together.

Start a tribute

Type of tribute
One photo and a short message is plenty to start. You can add more later.

A board member will set up your page or gift and email you a link to share, usually within one business day.

Need something right away?

Email [email protected]. If you are writing an obituary on a deadline, say so and we will respond quickly.

Common questions

Can I create a tribute for someone living, or in memory of someone?
Both. Choose In Honor Of for someone living, or In Memory Of for someone you have lost.
How long does it take to set up?
Most tribute pages are ready within a day of your request. A name, a photo and a few sentences is plenty to start; you can add more later.
Will donors receive a receipt?
Yes. Every gift made through a tribute page generates an emailed receipt automatically.
Can I notify the family?
Yes. We can send an acknowledgment to a family member without sharing the amount.
Where do the donations go?
To The Alexander Foundation’s programs: financial assistance for families and our education work. Gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Two ways to take the next step

For families

You are not alone in this.

If your child has Cloverleaf Syndrome or another craniofacial condition and the bills are piling up, tell us what is happening. We help where we can, and we will point you to people who can help with the rest.

For supporters

Every dollar reaches a family.

Nobody at the foundation is paid. Apart from minimal supplies and tax filing, every gift goes to families, hospitals, schools and books that change how children treat each other.
