Thirteen books that teach kids to belong, and to let others belong

Through our children’s book program we share stories that inspire kindness, understanding and hope. Buy one for your family, or sponsor copies for schools, churches, hospitals and other community spaces.

We started with our own book, Hugs, Handshakes & High Fives. Over the years teachers, parents and librarians have pointed us to other titles that do the same work. Here are the dozen we recommend most. Purchases go through Amazon; proceeds from our own title return to the foundation, and sponsored copies of any book can be placed where they will inspire kindness and inclusion in young readers.

Want to sponsor a stack for a classroom? Tell us where and we will help.

Two ways to take the next step

For families

You are not alone in this.

If your child has Cloverleaf Syndrome or another craniofacial condition and the bills are piling up, tell us what is happening. We help where we can, and we will point you to people who can help with the rest.

For supporters

Every dollar reaches a family.

Nobody at the foundation is paid. Apart from minimal supplies and tax filing, every gift goes to families, hospitals, schools and books that change how children treat each other.
