Give a lasting gift and receive dependable income

A charitable gift annuity lets you make a meaningful gift to The Alexander Foundation and receive fixed payments for life.

How it works

  1. Request an illustration. Email [email protected] with your age (and a second beneficiary's age, if any) and a gift amount. We will send sample payment figures.
  2. Fund your annuity with cash or appreciated securities. We provide transfer instructions and a short agreement to sign.
  3. Receive fixed payments for life on the schedule you choose.
  4. Support families. The remainder of your gift sustains care, resources and education.

Information only. The Alexander Foundation does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice. Gift annuity availability may depend on your state of residence; please consult your advisor.

Common questions

What is a charitable gift annuity?
A simple agreement. You make an irrevocable gift of cash or appreciated securities to the foundation; in return we pay you, and optionally another beneficiary, a fixed amount for life. After the beneficiaries’ lifetimes the remaining value supports our programs.
How often are payments made?
Payments never change and can be made quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Many donors appreciate the predictability in retirement planning.
Are there tax benefits?
You may be eligible for a current income-tax charitable deduction, and part of each payment may be tax-advantaged. Please consult your advisor.

Two ways to take the next step

For families

You are not alone in this.

If your child has Cloverleaf Syndrome or another craniofacial condition and the bills are piling up, tell us what is happening. We help where we can, and we will point you to people who can help with the rest.

For supporters

Every dollar reaches a family.

Nobody at the foundation is paid. Apart from minimal supplies and tax filing, every gift goes to families, hospitals, schools and books that change how children treat each other.
